Gin Hammond will tell her story about how using Fitzmaurice Voicework ™ during pregnancy significantly diminished her contraction pain during labour. Fitzmaurice Voicework ™ is a body oriented approach to voice training originally developed for actors.

She will share some excercises and practical advice on how to implement this in your own pregnancy/life. A workshop for (future) parents, midwifes, and anyone interested in the subject.

We will serve soup and bread after the workshop.

Gin Hammond is an award-winning, Harvard University/Moscow Art Theatre graduate and certified Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework™.

Gin is the director and dialect coach for the video game, Post-Human W.A.R. and has worked with the Academy Award winning MoCap Now Studios to develop a course in motion capture training in Seattle.

Hammond teaches voice, voice-over, public speaking, and dialect coaching, and can be heard on commercials, audiobooks, radio plays, and a variety of video games including BattleTech, DotA 2, Undead Labs State of Decay 1 & 2, Aion, and Halo 3 ODST.
